At Jumping Jacks, we pride ourselves on being a friendly show and a good introduction to competing with your dog. You do not need to register before competing in any Jumping Jacks or Pawfect Distance show but if you are new to competition, we encourage you to introduce yourself to one of the JJ Hoopers team at the entrance tent (look for the T shirts!). We are more than happy to explain what goes on, talk you through the day, and answer any questions you may have.

There are six competition levels at JJ hoopers: Nursery, Levels 1 to 4 and Veteran. We allow dogs to compete in Nursery classes from the age of 12 months. The link below gives examples of courses and rules at each level. The rules for 2026 also outline the various levels. If you are unsure which level to enter, then please contact us. We have some unique features at our Jumping Jacks Shows. For those of you who have run out of rosette space we have our 5x rosettes. Five of your first place rosettes can now be exchanged for one that celebrates all those wins - with details of the dates and run data recorded on the back.
And as you can see below, we don’t just stick to 1st, 2nd and 3rd places. We have our very own NearlE rosettes. Awarded for an E run that JUST misses being perfect. We use the groans from the spectators as a guide! Check out our Instagram for an example.

How to enter
To enter you can click on each show and follow the links or you can use our new app on a mobile phone, tablet or laptop.
On the app, you can see the show diary, enter shows, see the latest results as they happen and keep up with the leagues.
If you have any problems entering then please email or message us, either directly or via Facebook/Messenger. Please provide your name, your dog's name, level and size, together with details of the classes that you wish to enter and we will get back to you asap.
